Hire Methods Inc. Named to Top 100
Best Companies To Work For in Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Aug. 2, 2010) — Hire Methods Inc. has been named one of Florida’s Best Companies To Work For.

The second annual statewide Best Companies list is available in the August issue of Florida Trend and on FloridaTrend.com. A provider of health care, information technology and professional staffing, Hire Methods has made the list two years in a row.

“Hire Methods Professional Staffing was founded with strong principles that put employees, candidates, and clients first,” Co-founder Clint Drawdy said. “We work diligently every day to make Hire Methods a great place to work for both our internal staff and our temporaries.”

The Best Companies To Work For in Florida program was created by Florida Trend and Best Companies Group and endorsed by the HR Florida State Council.

One-hundred companies were recognized this year, in small, medium and large company categories. Hire Methods ranked 17th among the Best Small Companies (15 to 49 employees).

“Companies that retain the best employees with strong workplace programs are frequently the very same companies that serve their clients exceptionally well,” says Florida Trend Publisher Andrew Corty.

To be considered for participation, companies or government entities had to employ at least 15 workers in Florida and be at least a year old. Each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies and systems were evaluated. Employee satisfaction also was measured, through a survey. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Best Companies Group managed the overall registration, survey and analysis process and determined the final rankings. Companies were not required to pay to participate.

“The surveys show that while employees like ‘bells and whistles’ types of benefits, the companies that make the list all are very good at the basics — especially at communicating with their employees and offering training and opportunities to work creatively. This year’s stories are a great how-to guide for companies looking to improve,” says Mark Howard, executive editor.

Jacksonville employment expert says hope is on the horizon
Co-owner of Hire Methods staffing firm has positive thoughts for unemployment

Jacksonville, Fla., March 24, 2010: Jacksonville unemployment rose again in January to 12.1 percent, up from 11.2 percent in December and 8.4 percent a year ago, according to statistics released last Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.  In addition, Gallup poll results released last Tuesday revealed that the nation’s underemployment for January has reached 20 percent.

“This is still a very painful time for employment,” said Clint Drawdy, co-owner of Hire Methods staffing firm.  “I have a growing number of family and friends who I am helping to find jobs each week.  Even though my business is to find jobs for people, this has been daunting.  There are very talented people out there searching for work, but there are just so few jobs.”

Drawdy notes that although employment numbers are lagging, some economic indicators are already pointing toward signs of a recovery.  “Things are improving for businesses and unemployment will eventually catch up.”

Earlier this year, Hire Methods added a third division, Hire Methods Professional Staffing, to meet demands for clerical, finance and administrative skill sets.  Drawdy claims that during an economic recovery, these skill sets are often the first to be requested again.

Drawy keeps monthly statistics on the unemployment situation from a staffing perspective.  These statistics are available via video broadcast on the Medical Methods’ Web site.  Click here to view this month’s video.

Chad Perce, co-owner of Hire Methods and president of the iMethods division, also broadcasts monthly videos on IT/technology employment numbers.  iMethods videos and the monthly newsletter can be viewed by clicking here.

Hire Methods adds Professional Staffing division
Hire Methods Professional Staffing supplies new skill sets to Florida’s First Coast

Jacksonville, Fla., Feb. 8, 2010: Hire Methods, a staffing company specializing in health-care and information technology recruiting, is adding another skill set to its current offerings in Jacksonville and throughout the First Coast.  The new division, called Hire Methods Professional Staffing, offers temporary, permanent and contract positions in the following skill sets:  mortgage services, administrative and clerical support, finance and accounting, and customer service.

Clint Drawdy and Chad Perce, co-owners of Hire Methods, started this division because they saw a need.  “Existing clients asked us to provide more skill sets, and we had experienced staff who were able and willing to build new division,” Drawdy said.  “History shows us that professional staffing and administrative skill sets are the first to be hired in an economic recovery.  I believe there is room in the market for a relationship-based firm to help customers attract and retain top talent.”

Through this new division, Hire Methods will supply the Jacksonville area with qualified employees in professional service skill sets for businesses looking to fill positions.  Like iMethods and Medical Methods, Hire Methods Professional Staffing will apply career assessments and quality metrics, like the Successful Placement Ratio, to all applicants in order to place the best candidates in requested positions.

Co-owner Chad Perce says, “We are really excited about this new division.  We believe our customers, employees and candidates will benefit greatly from our new capabilities.  It will also strengthen our firm and provide more fuel to fulfilling our vision of being a best place to work in Florida.
