Taco Bell Donation Campaign Will Benefit Local Military Families
Jacksonville, Fla. – Nov. 2, 2009: Taco Bell franchise locations in Mobile, Ala.; Augusta and Southeast, Ga.; and Jacksonville and Pensacola, Fla. will collect donations from Nov. 11 through 24 to benefit military members and their families.
Donations can be made at participating Taco Bell restaurants by purchasing a personalized paper bell or just by giving extra change from meal purchases. One hundred percent of donations made will go toward specific projects to benefit local military families. Donors who give $1 or more will also receive a coupon for one free taco at Taco Bell on their next visit, while supplies last.
Taco Bell will collect donations on behalf of the Armed Forces Families Foundation (AFFF). All efforts and services will be provided free of charge by dedicated Taco Bell volunteers and by Prometheus Partners, LLC, a private equity fund that invests in franchised restaurants. Prometheus will match 100% of donations up to $5,000 for each regional location (Augusta, Jacksonville and Mobile).
The AFFF assists the first line of support for military men and women – their families. The AFFF has completed two major projects, including a Family Wellness Center at Ft. Irwin, Ca., and a family rest area at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. The foundation is working on a Family Readiness Program for the Marine Special Operations Battalion in Camp Pendleton, Ca., which is one of the most heavily deployed units of the Marine Corps.

National survey proves value of sales training at leading companies
Jacksonville, FL – Oct. 14, 2009: PI Worldwide, the parent company of Predictive Results, has been recognized as a provider of market-leading sales training, in a recently published report by the national research firm Aberdeen Group.
Aberdeen analysts noted the sales improvements generated through training at The Yankee Candle Company, the largest candle manufacturer in the United States. Cited as a best-in-class organization by Aberdeen Group, Yankee Candle is a long-time user of assessment and training services from PI Worldwide.
According to Aberdeen Group’s research, best-in-class organizations increase employee training, to create more meaningful sales conversations and enhance skills. Researchers surveyed more than 500 companies.
“The economy is recovering and strong sales skills are increasingly critical for companies large and small,” said Steve Waterhouse, President and CEO of Predictive Results. “This report reinforces our findings that companies can find tremendous value in our unique and powerful combination of personalized assessments and sales training approaches that help identify and address a sales team’s strengths and weaknesses.”
More than 7,000 companies in 146 countries already benefit from PI Worldwide’s leading Predictive Index® assessment tool. As a member of PI Worldwide, Predictive Results also offers companies the Selling Skills Assessment Tool™ (SSAT) and Customer Focused Selling™ (CFS).
Yankee Candle’s Wholesale Division was formally trained in Customer Focused Selling methodologies. The Predictive Index and Selling Skills Assessment Tool provided coaching skills and insight for managers to leverage each individual employee’s natural behavior to sell. These same individuals could then use their newly acquired skills to build optimal relationships with their customers.
“We’ve absolutely seen the benefit of this,” Michael Thorne, Yankee Candle’s senior vice president of wholesale says, as quoted in the Aberdeen Group’s report. “After the first month, the revenue performance differentiated between our test group and the general staff increased by 40%.”
